Standard Penetration Testing (SPT)

SPT is widely used to provide geotechnical drilling services, checking various parameters and properties of soil for purposes of building construction and exploration. In order to provide our clients with the most accurate and reliable field data, we use only calibrated auto-hammers on our drill rigs. 

As opposed to mechanical rigs, we currently utilize Geoprobe 7822DT track rigs. These rigs are hydraulically driven, making them a safer option for our operators. They leave a relatively smaller footprint while still providing the torque necessary to drill through the toughest formations and simplifying the process of getting through tight or limited access sites.
